Focus strategy produces remarkable effects, the Haval booth draws global attention

At Auto China 2014, continuing the brand concept of "Focus, Dedication, Specialization", GWM showed up with 8 Haval SUV models (17 units) and 4 engines. During the exhibition, the 1,800-square-meter Haval booth in Hall W4 was fully packed. The well-proportioned booth layout and the models representing GWM's latest technical achievements attracted domestic consumers as well as flocks of foreigners.

On April 23, the Haval booth received two distinguished guests. Accompanied by Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Su Bo, German Vice Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel visited the Haval booth. With relish, Gabriel got onboard Haval's mass-manufactured-to-be concept model Haval Coupe which made its global debut at the exhibition.

Haval's concept model--Haval Coupe was the biggest highlight of the Haval booth which was developed and designed by GWM's international technical team for global consumers. Perfectly integrating the SUV's cross-country performance, the sports car's genes and the limousine's comfort and luxury, it gives full rein to European leading and trendy design concept, and is the new evolution of Haval's iconic design.

Previously on the press day of the exhibition, Volkswagen China CEO Jochem Heizmann showed Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn and Ulrich Hackenberg, Board Member for Technical Development at Audi AG around the Haval booth. Winterkorn and Hackenberg paid close attention to Haval H8, got onboard it and discussed details such as technical parameters and performance. According to sources, as GWM's first SUV model targeting the high-end market, Haval H8 will be launched during the exhibition after three months' optimization and improvement. In the three delayed months before its launch, GWM improved H8 with the attitude of perfection and responsibility for customers.

Due to hot sales of models like H6, GWM has achieved enviable sales growth in recent years. GWM is also one of the automakers that implemented the strategy of going out earliest. It has been a dozen years since GWM began exporting products in 1998. GWM attaches great importance to export quality and has taken a steady strategy in overseas marketing and brand building. It has upheld the attitude of being responsible for consumers, and has developed overseas markets thoroughly. With the improvement of its product quality and brand image, GWM has earned a good reputation in the international market and gained successful experience of competing in international markets.

GWM's latest elaborately-made products Haval Coupe, Coupe C, Haval 9 as well as all-new Haval 2 and Haval 8 on show at the Haval booth were favored by many foreigners, too. Hosts of overseas distributors, foreign reporters and internationally renowned parts suppliers visited the Haval booth. It was just like an international feast highlighting GWM's internationalized elements.

These foreigners, mostly well prepared, visited the Haval booth with purpose. Some crept in under the chassis and some sat into the driver cab, making careful inquiries and observations. Haval H2 was ranked by the Wall Street Journal among the five favorite models (the only Chinese independent-branded model) at Auto China 2014.

The sales boom of the Haval series attracted attention from global consumers and a growing number of foreigners. GWM's outstanding reputation and performance in the world shows GWM's product quality and determination to develop the international high-end market.
